From New York/Providence (approx. 30-35 miles from Providence):
Take I-95 to I-195 East in Providence, RI. Follow I-195 to the New Bedford Exits:
- Buttonwood Park - Exit 13 A, Rt. 140 South. Follow Rt. 140 South to the traffic lights at the end. Go straight at the lights. The park is on the left.
- Industrial Park - Exit 13 B, Rt. 140 North. Follow Rt. 140 North to Exit 7 - Braley Rd/Industrial Park. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp and go straight to enter the park.
- Downtown NB/National Park District - Exit 15 - Downtown, Rt. 18 South. Follow Rt. 18 South to the first set of traffic lights and turn right onto Elm St. Public parking is available just up the hill on the right. The National Park/Historic district is one block to the left. Downtown is one block up the hill to the left.
From Boston (approx. 55 miles):
Take I-93 South to Rt. 24 South. Follow Rt. 24 South to Rt. 140 South (Exit 12, New Bedford/Taunton). Follow Rt. 140 South to the New Bedford Exits:
- Buttonwood Park - Follow Rt. 140 South to the traffic lights at the very end. Go straight at the lights. The park is on the left.
- Industrial Park - Follow Rt. 140 South to Exit 7 - Braley Rd/Industrial Park. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp and go straight to enter the park.
- Downtown NB/National Park District - Follow Rt. 140 South to Exit 2 E - Cape Cod, I-195 East. Follow I-195 East to Exit 15, Downtown, Rt. 18 South. From Cape Cod (approx. 35-45 miles):
Take Rt. 6 West (over the Bourne or Sagamore Bridge) to I-495 North. Follow I-495 North to I-195 West. Follow I-195 to New Bedford Exits:
